April 2026
Spring is here and we will be transitioning to a quarterly newsletter. With Dr. Hubbel’s recent retirement, Drs. Johnston and Leguard have had to pick up the slack and publishing our normal monthly newsletter will be on pause as our doctors adjust. We’d better ask Dr. Hubbel to come back… ha!
It has officially been a month since Dr. Hubbel has retired… but you’ll still see him in the office making sure that things are running smoothly. Dr. Leguard has decided that he will take on a “consultant” role, but Julie thinks that we should use him (and his new car!) as a chauffeur service for those patients who have a hard time driving to the clinic. Both ideas are under consideration.
Dr. Leguard and Dr. Johnston are working hard to adopt (as per Dr. L) all of Dr. Hubbel’s patients to continue their care. We want to thank everyone in advance for their patience as we navigate this transition. We are taking extra time to review and become familiar with all of you, ensuring you continue to receive the expert chiropractic care to which you are accustomed.
Office updates:
Karen has returned from her month-long Caribbean adventure, and is now “semi-retired”... she does not have an official weekly shift at the clinic, but will be in as needed to cover holidays, sick days etc. Her expert advice and cheering demeanor will be missed on Thursdays.
Dr. Johnston enjoyed a few days of skiing with her girls at Mansfield Ski Club over March Break. Dr. Leguard got away to Quebec to ski with her partner Nathan. Dr. Leguard’s big birthday bash was a success.
Debra is in full wedding planning mode, and we are looking forward to Dr. Leguard’s sister, Ainsley’s, bridal shower at the end of April. Julie enjoyed a weekend away in Montreal watching the Habs with her partner Ron. Carolyn is the queen of babysitting her granddaughter Iris. Carleigh is keeping up with her kids’ social calendar and playing a few new summer sports this year. Louise is busy planning her many camping adventures over the summer months and preparing for her upcoming play, Cinderella!
