Happy November!

Important dates of note for this month include November 11, where we will take a moment of silence at 11am for Remembrance Day. On November 5, we celebrate Louise’s 4 year office anniversary. November 7 is Myranda’s official last day at our clinic, just before her 4th anniversary at our office. Debra’s birthday is November 29th. Carolyn is on a much deserved vacation for the first week of November and will be enjoying the beaches of Mexico’s Pacific Coast. 

We celebrated Myranda’s transition to her next chapter with a team dinner at the Mill Restaurant. Myranda will move to Renfrew to join her family, and start an exciting new phase of her life. Myranda has loved her four years at Hubbel & Johnston Chiropractic (and 10 years as a patient!) helping patients and keeping the doctors organized. We will miss Myranda very much. Look forward to Carleigh’s daily poems about Myranda for her last week with us. 

Dr. Johnston survived Disney World with her girls, with highlights being Isla and Alexandria meeting their favourite princesses and seeing the magic through their eyes. They then went to a family wedding in Myrtle Beach the week after. Carleigh’s vacation to the Azores to celebrate her 40th birthday was a blast. Her favourite part was walking on lava (a hardened lava flow, don’t worry!).

Our staff rocked the Rebound Child & Youth Services “Kilometers 4 Kids” Move for Mental Health walk to be their Fun Run Sponsor. This month, we will be donating to Habitat for Humanity for their “Home for the Holidays” campaign! This is a very special time to support Habitat, as all donations up to $10,000 will be matched. We are always proud that as a team, we are able to support so many wonderful organizations in our community.
